Today, Thursday 9th June, 2022 an 10 a.m. the new plaque installed at Lyne Purl Well in Lyndon was unveiled by our Chair Moreen Wilkes and Cllr Laura Rollins.
The old plaque erected by Alderman J.J. Grant in 1956 had crumbled away and the site neglected.
W.B.L.H.S. with the help of Sandwell M.B.C. has replaced the old plaque retaining the wording of the original. This historic monument has now been preserved for future generations.
